Restaurant For An Evening

Filed under: News — Jess @ 11:22 am
On Monday December 18th, students from Mr. Hughes’ Career Studies class held a restaurant for an evening activity for their parents. Transforming the Food Studies room into the Quiet Coyote restaurant, parents were able to experience the menu the students helped create (Ceaser salad from scratch, braised short rib gnocchi and banana bread with mousse for dessert). Everyone chipped in from setting up, serving, cooking and cleaning. A big thanks to Keith from Bistro One for coming in to help with the food preparation and teaching; plus thanks to everyone else at Churchill who made the night a success!
Happy Holidays!
