On Tuseday November 7th Churchill’s IB students will be hosting the fifth annual “Night of 1000 Dinners.” Once again, we will be hosting a carnival, with a number of exceting and skill testing games, including the ever popular “Teacher Pie Toss”. Tickets are $10 each and including a beef-on-a-bun dinner. All proceeds will go to Operation Christmas Child.

Congradulations to the Senior Girls Basketball team who advanced to the Semi-Finals with a 38-12 win over Westgae last night. The team played excellent team defence and played composed on offence.
Kelsey York led the Trojans with 9 pts and Kayla Kiessig & Vanessa Arps added 7 pts each! The team now plays St. Ig. On Thursday!

The Junior Boys Volleyball team sure can! Late last night your Trojans demolished the #3 seed St. Pats Saints winning 3 sets to 0!! Passing, serving, spiking and blocking were all parts of the game that were played to perfection. Exeptional performances came from Alex Tampleman, Gabe Vilkajainen and Randy Richmond. The #1 seeded team La Verendrye stands in our way of going to the championship - Let’s knock them out Thursday team!! Great job!

Jr. Boys Volleyball - Churchill (#6) at St. Patrick (#3) at 8pm

The Junior Girls team lost at tough game last night as they lost by one point to the St. Ignatius Falcons. The game was close. With one minute and eight seconds left to play, Churchill was up by one point when a turn over allowed the Falcons to gain possession and score.
Alisia Fui was the game’s top scorer with 8 points. The girls first play-off game will be against Hillcrest/P.A.C.I at a yet to be announced time and place.
Practice is today from 3:40 - 5:10. See you girls then!!

Tuesday night the Junior Boys Volleyball team won 3-0 against DFC. The Trojans are now 5-7 with only two games left in the regular season. Let’s even that record team!!
